She has completed nearly 40 triathlons, including six Ironman events and 15 half-distance events, and has qualified for USA Triathlon Nationals five times. In 2021, she finished fourth in her age group at Ironman Texas. As cofounder and principal coach at NYX Endurance, Freeman coaches athletes to their first finish lines at sprint-, Olympic, half-, and full-distance races. She also leads beginner triathlon clinics in Boulder, Colorado, and developed an online course, The Ultimate Guide to Your First Triathlon, through NYX Endurance. Outside of coaching, Freeman is a frequent contributor to Triathlete.com, where she has written over 50 articles on training, skill development, and the athlete mindset. Since his time competing on the mat, he has been heavily involved in strength training and is still active in the sport of strongman with competing and with promoting events. Heidi Campo, MS, CSCS, *D, NSCA-CPT*D Heidi Campo is a strength and conditioning professional, researcher, and former gym owner with nearly two decades of experience in the private sector. She has worked as a coach since 2005 and previously owned a strength-focused gym in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a particular emphasis on strongman and other strength sports. Campo's passion for strongman deepened in 2015 when she spent a winter in Iceland training at Jakabol Gym, known as the Nest of Giants, under four-time World's Strongest Man Magnus Ver Magnusson. in 2020, she founded the NSCA Strongman Special Interest Group and has remained actively involved in its development. As the former Utah chair for Strongman Corporation, Campo developed a deep appreciation for how strongman training can positively shape individuals, teams, and local communities through shared challenge, discipline, and purpose.

He also designed and implemented the team's nutrition program, sport science protocols, return-to-play strategies, and off-season competition planning. Prior to that, Caron worked as a football strength and conditioning coach at University of Southern California. He held a similar position at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Caron began his coaching career in 2007 at Springfield College, where he served as the football strength and conditioning coach. Earlier in his career, he completed strength and conditioning internships at Harvard University, Georgia Tech, and the University of Mississippi. Caron holds a master's of education in strength and conditioning from Springfield College. He also earned a master's of science in performance enhancement and injury prevention from California University of Pennsylvania. he completed his undergraduate education at Westfield State, where he received a bachelor's of education in mathematics and movement science. When Samantha Wood began her career, she was interested in physical therapy and using methods to help individuals recover from injury. While working with a pro basketball team, she learned that Pilates was one of those methods that could help bring athletes and gen pop clients back to health in a safe and efficient way. She believed in it so much that she wrote a book about it. She previously owned and operated The Cypress Center in Pacific Palisades, California, where for over 23 years she and her staff integrated Pilates with physical therapy for people of all ages and abilities. Wood received her bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Southern California (USC), where she worked as a student athletic trainer with athletes from all sports but specialized in volleyball, football, and track. After graduation, she worked as a fitness instructor for The Golden Door Spa on board Cunard cruise ships. Two years later, she earned a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from Western University of Health Sciences. She also holds an MBA degree from USC. She has worked with many celebrities and professional athletes; while at HealthSouth in Arizona, she was a physical therapist for the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Coyotes, Phoenix Mercury, and Arizona Rattlers. In 2010, she was selected as the physical therapist for the EAS Unstoppable Tour, where her responsibilities included keeping elite athlete Sam Tickle in top physical condition as he completed his 30-sport, 30-city, 30-day journey. Wood began her Pilates studies in 2001 with Rael Isacowitz and has since attended many of Rael's advanced courses, including the prestigious Legacy program (Mentor, Master I, Master II, and Honors Course). She created and teaches three advanced education courses for BASI Pilates: two for Pilates teachers and one for rehabilitation professionals. She has been presenting these courses, as well as teaching other workshops and lecturing at Pilates conferences around the world, since 2010. A former nationally ranked powerlifter who has won several national titles with USA Powerlifting (USAPL), Dr. Michael was the vice president for two years in addition to being the drug testing chairperson for five years. He was also the chairperson of their Sports Medicine Committee for over 20 years, a committee he created in 1994. Starting in 1998, he was the head coach of the USAPL world bench press team for eight years, coaching the U.S. team to the 2004 International Powerlifting Federation World Championship team title. His best competition lifts are 705-pound squat, 535-pound bench press, and 635-pound deadlift, with a best combined total of the three lifts of 1,840 pounds in the former 275-pound weight class. For the next 10 years, he was playing semi-pro football as a defensive tackle—and loving it! His football team, the Adams County Patriots, won the National AA Semi-Pro Football Championship in 2008 and were undefeated for two years straight. He treats patients from babies to senior citizens, and he trains and advises athletes of all levels, from youth athletes to NCAA student-athletes and professional athletes. He coached junior high football and track and field, volunteering his time, for 16 years. He has three sons and three grandchildren who keep him busy with their personal endeavors, including crawling, hockey, football, lacrosse, track and field, and, of course, academics.

Walk Your Way Fit, with Sarah Zahab
As a toddler, you might have memories of taking your first steps. If not, your family likely has pictures or videos of the event. It's a pretty big deal at first, and then it becomes routine. While it might be second nature to many of us, the benefits go far beyond using it as a normal activity of daily living. Former race walk champion, registered kinesiologist and clinical exercise physiologist Sarah Zahab knows the important role walking can play in our lives. Walk Your Way Fit https://ecs.page.link/a1VGP Sarah Zahab Sarah Zahab is a registered kinesiologist, clinical exercise physiologist, and group fitness instructor with over 25 years of full-time fitness industry experience. She studied human kinetics at the University of Ottawa and graduated with honors (magna cum laude) with a bachelor of health sciences degree and a minor in biology. Zahab is constantly continuing her education with various courses, workshops, and conferences and regularly reviews journals and evidence-based research from multiple sources. A former international fitness competitor, Zahab was fortunate to represent Canada at the Ms. Fitness World competition four times, placing in the top 20 for three of those competitions (2004, 2005, and 2007). She has been a nationally ranked race walker and is the 2012 and 2014 winner of the Ontario race walk championships (5,000 meters) as well as the 2016 winner of the Canadian Indoor National Championship (3,000 meters). She enjoys leading walking groups and regularly partakes in a vigorous walking regimen herself. A dancer from the age of three, she also has a background in competitive dance (jazz, tap, and hip-hop) as well as an extensive background in ballet and Middle Eastern dance. Zahab presents fitness workshops at conferences in Canada and internationally. She is passionate about elevating health care practitioners' knowledge and skills to help the general population improve overall health and wellness. She is often sought out to present, and she draws record numbers of delegates to her sessions. She was awarded the Canfitpro Canadian Presenter of the Year Award in 2023. Zahab is the owner of Continuum Fitness & Movement Performance, a multidisciplinary clinic in Ottawa that has assisted 12 athletes in successfully participating in the Olympic Games. She is a former fitness expert for the CTV Morning Live television show (Ottawa), where she provided expert advice to their large viewing audience for over 10 years. She has also authored articles featured in various publications.
