Drilling in Central Finland With Mitch Vanderydt

In this episode, we chat with Mitch Vanderydt, CEO of NorthGold AB. A Swedish-listed gold exploration and development company with resource-stage projects in Finland Mitch has a background in geotechnical engineering and metals and mining research. He has stepped into a CEO role recently and talks about NorthGold AB and what it’s like mining in Finland. A jurisdiction that has been ranked 3rd highest in the world by the Fraser Institute. North Gold has a broad and experienced team in place. They are an advanced stage explorer with 725,000 ounces of gold equivalent resources. There is also some copper. Finland is a mining-friendly country, for the most part. It takes a while to get a mine up and running in Finland. But from that point on things go smoothly. NorthGold is commencing drilling in May 2022. IP surveys at both sites will be completed during 2022. In 2023, they are planning to drill another 5,000 meters.
