He believes that there are people that can't sing. Never heard of the blues, and they have the blues. Here on earth, that's how it is. But in heaven, there won't be any blues. Drink Small is a soul blues and electric blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is known as the Blues Doctor and has been influenced by gospel and country music and by the blues guitarist and singer Blind Boy Fuller. Drink Small was born in Bishopville, South Carolina. He taught himself to play the guitar and organized the local gospel group, The Six Stars. He had electric musical influences like John Lee Hooker and Fats Domino.
