Send us Fan MailIn this episode I talk to the communication department of AFT in order to talk candidly about changes CTU (Chicago Teacher's Union) should make since they exposed themselves to not be that interested in supporting kids, instead "crickets" when I answered the question of "why did you go back there if you were so injured," & answered, "since there was molestation claims that were believable, was told point-blank by AP to not call DCFS & this student was using my bathroom since that was the scene of the crime, I did not trust these 'new' policies of allowing that child to use that restroom is absent because the school did not hire a substitute for kids with special needs, primary level, for an entire year," (detailed to me by parents who were not given minutes to their child & what prompted me to tutor often (& cheaply btw) I own every decision I made. Since teachers were given options to not pay union dues, you'd want all the information necessary to know what to do & because Jim Green (CTU lawyer connected to Robin Potter <--seed) who didn't even know the contract that he bragged repeatedly about writing/updating, securing necessary changes like including battery (physical assault) in addition to assault (intent) told me "the union will not support this," even after OSHA, EEOC (equal employment office Chicago) & others wrote incident reports documenting the violence that went uncheck & then covered-up.To be told that by CTU allows me to absolutely state to colleagues asking that question now, in the past I'd say, "for the greater good, giving a little monthly helps all even if you never personally utilize these services," but now? I have a different answer.We're starting over because #s are 50% secured meaning I do lose them day-to-day & have to practice them day-to-day.
