The new single lands with proper intent. Big drums, a heavy bassline and a vocal that knows exactly where it wants to be, right in the middle of the room. It follows Illyus’ recent run of club-ready cuts including ‘Never Let You Go’ with MK, ‘People’s PRTY’ and ‘Deep Down’, which dropped on Toolroom back in January. Add in a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Toolroom Radio hosting duties and his A&R role at Electronic Nature, and you’ve got someone who knows records from every angle. For this week’s podcast, Illyus keeps it moving.
