Born in 1999, the Italian DJ and producer has spent the last few years building his catalogue around tough, groove-led tech house. His sets have taken him through clubs including ilMuretto and CirQ in Venice and Milan’s Rocket Club, while his productions have found support from Joseph Capriati, Loco Dice, Ilario Alicante, Jamie Jones, Adam Beyer, Cloonee, Dennis Cruz and Wade. 2026 has been particularly busy. ATLAC opened the year with his 'Handclap' EP on Loco Dice’s Desolat, pairing the rolling title track with the heavier 'Smokin On', before following up with 'Hood Beat' on Hellbent and 'Goes Like This' for Metamorfosi Records. Then came a big one. August saw ATLAC make his debut on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with the two-track 'You Can Move' EP. The title cut gets straight to work with rolling drums, a thick bassline and a vocal built for the middle of a busy room. 'Strong' strips things back further, leaning into warped vocals and a more hypnotic groove. Both tracks were apparently put together in just a few hours before ATLAC sent them directly to Jamie. That directness runs straight through this week’s Spotlight Mix. Tony Romera and Gaba’s 'Naughty' gets things moving before Kidoo, Chico Rose, Fer BR, Artslaves, Braydon Terzo, White Off, Detlef, Dames House, Marchisio and Jason Detox all make appearances. It stays locked into that rolling tech house pocket throughout, plenty of drums, clipped vocals and basslines doing the heavy lifting. But the interesting bit is how much ATLAC material he’s packed into the hour. Alongside 'You Can Move', we get 'Fader Up', 'Let’s Move', 'Can’t Stop', 'Hood Beat', 'Broke Man' and 'Venom'. Seven of his own tracks across sixteen selections, which makes this as much a snapshot of where his productions are heading as it is a DJ mix. There’s no messing around with the pacing either. The records keep moving, the groove stays tight and there’s enough unreleased-looking ATLAC material in here to suggest the Hottrax release is only part of what he’s got lined up. The South Central LA producer joins us on the Data Transmission Podcast this week, bringing a set packed with Latin rhythms, bass house pressure, hip-hop edits and a healthy pile of unreleased music. JUOS first caught the rave bug at Beyond Wonderland back in 2013. From there, he taught himself production while working day jobs, sometimes literally making records in his car between shifts. That grind started paying off properly with tracks like 'Dile', which landed in Cloonee's inbox and went on to rack up millions of streams. His sound pulls directly from the city around him. Reggaeton, early 2000s hip-hop, Latin tech house and underground rave music all get dragged into the same room. It has already taken him onto labels including DIRTYBIRD, Hellbent and Thrive, while his records have picked up support from Chris Lake, John Summit, Cloonee, Diplo and Tiësto. Now signed to Helix Records, JUOS has just dropped 'Tequila Bounce' alongside No Thanks and Nevee, following a year that has included a sold-out 360 show at Exchange LA and an EDC Las Vegas debut. And the mix gives a pretty good idea of where things are heading next. JUOS opens with 'Tequila Bounce' before running through his own collaborations with Techno Tupac and Andruss, edits of Pitbull, Justin Timberlake and ASAP Ferg, plus unreleased weapons from HARG!, Edris Omar, LOOZBONE, BRANDON, Snooko & DEDRO and plenty more. There are also several JUOS IDs buried inside, including 'Mirala Bien', 'DTMF' and a closing collaboration with Taylr Renee, 'Bad News'. Sunora join us for this week’s Spotlight Mix, with Chertkovski and Alar putting together a session that sits somewhere between dreamy open-air house, rolling club grooves and the sort of records that sound particularly good once the sun has disappeared. The project only officially arrived in 2026, but there is plenty of experience behind it. Chertkovski and Alar have both spent years producing, DJing and moving through different corners of electronic music, and Sunora feels like the point where those influences have properly met. Their first release came alongside Lee Burridge with 'Bianco Montana' on All Day I Dream, before the duo launched their own SUNCTURE imprint in April. Since then, they’ve been steadily building around warm synths, rolling basslines, organic touches and house music that has enough melody to breathe without forgetting what the kick drum is there for. That same balance runs through their Spotlight Mix. There’s plenty of Sunora DNA scattered across the tracklist, including FunkT!de & Sunora’s unreleased 'Sex Machine', Sunora and FunkT!de’s 'Underground Baby', and another unreleased collaboration with Lee Burridge, 'Man With a Guitar'. Elsewhere, Rafael’s 'Gotta Be Cool' on Crosstown Rebels adds some low-slung swagger, Volkoder’s 'Steamy' brings a heavier groove, and Jackie (IT) and AVIV SAB’s 'Sexy M.F.' keeps things firmly aimed at the floor. There are a few IDs tucked away too, which is always a good sign. One of the biggest curiosities lands right at the start, with an unreleased Lee Burridge and Sunora edit of Deee-Lite’s 'What Is Love?' setting the tone before the mix moves through SUNCTURE, Maccabi House, Get Physical, Crosstown Rebels and All Day I Dream territory. It is a strong snapshot of what Sunora are building right now. Musical without drifting off, deep without losing its bounce, and packed with records that could work just as comfortably on a beach in Thailand as they could in a dark basement several hours later. That freedom has always been a big part of his appeal. CASH ONLY came up through record shop culture in the late 90s, with jungle and UK garage pushing him towards his first set of decks. Since then, he has spent more than 25 years working across the industry as a DJ, promoter, producer, tour manager and label boss. His sets have developed the same breadth, mixing timeless records, unreleased weapons and his own edits without getting stuck in one lane. This week’s podcast gets straight into it. Alaia & Gallo’s ‘Lipstick’ gets the Tony Romera treatment early doors before the mix runs through Solardo, Archie Hamilton, Route 94, Soulsearcher and Bushbaby & Danny P. There are plenty of exclusives in there too, including unreleased music from Jewel Kid & Wh0, Illyus Barrientos x Nesi and Capri x Denis Sulta. CASH ONLY also brings a few of his own bits to the table. His G-Double-E edit of Fish Go Deep’s ‘The Cure and the Cause’ appears alongside a dubplate from Casnova and his forthcoming remix of Weiss’ ‘Feel My Needs’ with Ruejay. That Weiss remix is a particularly big one for him. Arriving on Toolroom in September, it marks his first release for the label and sees him getting his hands on one of the catalogue’s best-known records. He also has a new release coming on Jewel Kid’s Alleanza, taking things into a bassier, garage-influenced house direction. There is plenty happening away from the studio too. CASH ONLY’s recent run has taken in Glastonbury, Hï Ibiza, Studio 338, Ministry of Sound and Defected Festivals, and this weekend he joins the Love to be… Festival lineup at The Stray in Harrogate. Love to be… returns with a 6,000-capacity crowd and three stages of house music, with Claptone, Paul Woolford, Sam Divine, David Penn, Mousse T, Todd Terry, Gok Wan and plenty more alongside CASH ONLY on the bill. As CASH ONLY puts it, the mix is “a journey across the spectrum of House and Garage”, and that pretty much nails it. The Los Angeles-based DJ and producer has one of the more unusual routes into dance music, balancing club records with life as a trial lawyer and law professor. Musically, though, the focus is clear. House and tech house, tight drums, heavy low-end and records that get to the point quickly. That same approach runs through ‘99’. Released on dt weapons this month, Jill Stanley’s track rolls on a punchy groove, crisp percussion and a hypnotic vocal hook, keeping the pressure on without overcrowding the mix. It follows releases and remixes connected with Defected, Space Yacht, Natura Viva and My Techno Weighs A Ton, and feels like a natural fit for the label. Her Spotlight Mix gives us a wider look at what sits around that sound. Jill mixes Radio Slave and Kameelah Waheed’s ‘All Rize’ with cuts from BUJA, VLTRA, Genesi, Joshwa, Discip, OMRI, SIDEPIECE and Volkoder, while dropping plenty of her own material into the session. There’s something different about a mix caught in the middle of a festival rather than pieced together in the studio. This one comes straight from the floor, with Malta’s Jewel Kid taking control at Groove & Bass in Quebec and working through the kind of chunky house and tech house grooves that have kept him busy for more than two decades. That experience runs deep. Jewel Kid has released across Toolroom, Alleanza, Glasgow Underground, Abode and Nervous, while his touring history includes Space Ibiza, Space Miami, Egg London, Cielo New York, Womb Tokyo and Sankeys Ibiza. He’s also a Carl Cox Worldwide Remix Competition winner, with multiple records landing inside Beatport’s Top 10. The mix arrives just after his Rekids debut, ‘Explicit Behaviour’, released on 14th August. The three-track EP finds Jewel Kid leaning into big drums, analogue pressure and classic house touches, from the piano stabs and sirens of ‘Explicit Behaviour’ to the Chicago influence running through ‘In The Dance’ and the rolling tension of ‘The Tribute’. For our latest Spotlight Mix, Mack Loenz steps in with 18 tracks of electro, house, techno and bass-heavy club music, arriving just ahead of his debut album ‘From The Heart’ on Maceo Plex’s Lone Romantic imprint on 4th September. Behind Mack Loenz is Larry McCormick, an artist many heads will already know as Exzakt. That project saw him release through the likes of Tresor, Fabric, Turbo and Skint, but Mack Loenz has become the next chapter, pulling those electro roots into something more cinematic, melodic and built for bigger rooms. You can hear that thinking all over this mix. Fred again.. kicks the door open before Chris Lorenzo and Kah-Lo push things towards the club, then Mack drops his own ‘Right From Wrong’ Club Mix into Maceo Plex’s ‘The Plan’. From there, Kyle Watson, Beswerda, Glowal, MPH and Anti Up keep the pressure moving without the selection ever getting stuck in one groove. There are a few nice left turns too. Craze and Black V Neck bring some low-end swagger, Mack slips in his own VIP mashup of Fred again. and Skepta’s ‘Victory Lap’, while Maceo Plex appears several times across the hour. It makes sense given the relationship between Mack, Lone Romantic and the forthcoming album, but none of it feels like box-ticking. The records earn their place. His own ‘Sunrise’ arrives late in the mix, one of two tracks from ‘From The Heart’ featured here. The ten-track LP pushes further into Mack’s blend of analogue synthesis, glistening arps, heavy basslines and emotional electronics, balancing proper dancefloor weight with a more reflective side. And then comes the closer. Mack finishes with Maceo Plex’s 2013 remix of Kavinsky, a particularly poignant choice following the French producer’s death in Paris last month at the age of 50. Kavinsky was one of the defining names of the second wave of French Touch, and his influence stretches far beyond ‘Nightcall’. It’s a classy way to finish a mix that clearly comes from someone who still cares about selection, sequencing and where a record sits next to the one before it. Turn it up.

Released on 7th August, the EP sees Resco linking with Chris Brooks, Max Vitelli and M.O.E across three rolling club cuts. The title track ‘Dat Funk’ brings tight percussion, low-end pressure and chopped vocals, while ‘Get Back’ keeps that swing moving before ‘Dirty Checks’ rounds things out with a darker, bass-heavy groove. Since breaking through with his Beatport-charting ‘Crazy’ EP in 2024, Resco has been steadily building his name, picking up support from Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Ilario Alicante, Franky Rizardo and Cloonee along the way. His records have already found their way into sets at Elrow and Music On at Pacha, which tells you plenty about where his music is aimed. That same thinking runs right through this mix. Resco works through tracks from DJ Entwan, Reenday, Freenzy Music, Tomi&Kesh, Supernova and CASSIMM, alongside his own collaborations with Mike Haley and Chris Brooks. There’s plenty of movement in here, from the chunky roll of ‘Big City Roller’ and ‘Get Back’ through to Sandro Martins’ ‘Baile de Favela’ remix and CASSIMM’s ‘That Funky Sound’. The Venice-born producer has built his name on rolling grooves, tribal percussion and records made with the dancefloor firmly in mind. That formula has kept him near the top of the pile. Marco sits among Beatport’s leading House artists, pulls in more than 430,000 monthly Spotify listeners, and his remix of Cajmere feat. Dajae’s ‘Brighter Days’ became one of the defining house remixes of 2023. For his Data Transmission podcast, he gets straight down to business. The mix moves through cuts from Javi Bora, Vibe Killers, Route 94, Piem, Ammo Avenue and Detlef, alongside a serious amount of Marco’s own music. ‘Real Love’, ‘Super Hot’, ‘Flute’, ‘So Good’, ‘Solo’, ‘Kente Flow’, ‘Too Bad’ and ‘Hause Muzica’ all make appearances. It is exactly where Marco Lys operates best. Big grooves, tight drums and enough swing to keep things moving from the club basement through to the festival floor. Based out of New York, Amanda has been steadily carving out her own lane as a DJ, producer and creative voice, bringing together underground club energy with a playful, personality-led edge. After already catching attention through Data Transmission’s Demo of the Week series, she now steps properly into the label fold with a debut that feels confident, direct and ready for the booth. ‘Wait What’ wastes no time locking into its groove. A tight, rolling rhythm section drives the track forward, while a punchy bassline, trippy acid touches and a teasing vocal hook give it that raised-eyebrow, late-night character. The arrangement keeps things moving with stripped-back tension, clean drops and enough bite to cut through a busy room without losing its swing. Raw, fun and full of club-ready swagger, ‘Wait What’ is a strong first statement from Amanda Simpson on dt weapons.

Rocket has been part of Milan’s club fabric for years, both behind the decks and behind the scenes. He owns Rocket Club, programming international guests alongside local talent, while his Motel Calypso parties have grown into their own label operation. His productions have also landed on Spinnin’ Records and MIAW, moving between deep, tech and minimal house without losing that club-first mentality. That same approach runs straight through this mix. There’s plenty of swing in here, with cuts from Mendo & Angel Heredia, Calussa, Pinedo, Chico Rose, Arzenic and Mr. Belt & Wezol & RUZE keeping things locked into a warm, percussive pocket. Latin touches, chunky drums and rolling low-end do most of the work, with the energy building naturally rather than reaching for cheap peaks. Sitting right in the middle is Massi Rocket and Alfrenk’s ‘Tribal Vibes’, released on Motel Calypso Records on 24th July. The pair built the record around tribal drums, toms, airy hats and a looping bassline, with guitar touches and spoken vocals giving it just enough character without getting in the groove’s way. Killed Kassette is opening a new chapter with the launch of his own imprint, Killed Kassette Records, unveiling a contemporary rework of the house classic Flashdance as the label’s inaugural release. Out on 10th July, the single features vocalist Maisie Ma’e and sees the UK producer revisit one of dance music’s most iconic records through a modern club lens, with entirely new vocal and guitar recordings alongside an updated production aimed squarely at today’s dance floors. Rather than recreating the original, Killed Kassette has approached the project as a full reinterpretation, retaining the energy and emotion that made the track a house staple while delivering a sound designed for 2026 systems, festivals and peak-time sets. Having built a reputation with releases on labels including Armada, KMS, Kittball and Perfecto. Killed Kassette has continued to establish his credentials within the international house scene though his official remix work for artists such as Kevin Saunderson, Cassimm, Harry Romero, Chez Damier, Carl Craig and Roland Clark. The new release also marks the beginning of Killed Kassette Records, a platform that the producer says will focus on forward-thinking house music while remaining rooted in the spirit and culture of the underground. “Flashdance has always been one of those records that I wanted to use to connect to a new generation of clubbers,” says Killed Kassette. “I wanted to create something that respected the original but felt completely at home on modern dance floors. We re-recorded everything from scratch, brought in live guitars and Maisie’s incredible vocal performance, and gave it a fresh identity while keeping the emotion that made the record so special.” Maisie Ma’e’s soulful delivery provides the centrepiece of the new version, bringing a contemporary edge to a timeless dance anthem and helping to bridge classic house influences with modern production aesthetics. Kinch has spent years carving out a sound that sits somewhere between house, disco and techno, always tied together by groove. Jazz and disco remain at the root of what he does, but his records are built for proper rooms. That approach has taken him onto Gorgon City’s Realm Records, Sonny Fodera’s Solotoko, Nervous and EMI, with support from CamelPhat, FISHER and David Guetta along the way. He was the first artist outside Gorgon City themselves to release on Realm, with his ‘Manchester’ EP helping establish the sound that has since carried him through Ultra Music Festival, Printworks, Brooklyn Mirage, Tobacco Dock and EDC. Add a Duke Dumont remix and sets alongside Claude VonStroke, Kaskade, Chris Lake and Gorgon City, and the picture is fairly clear. Kinch knows how to work a dancefloor. The mix reflects that. Pietro Pellizzari opens proceedings before Kinch quickly starts dipping into his own vault. There are five solo Kyle Kinch IDs in here, alongside unreleased cuts from KC Gilmore and Drew Pree, My Friend, Alex Mills and more. Wh0, OFFAIAH, Ammo Avenue, Kepler, Boss Priester, Flashmob and Jack Marlow keep the energy moving between chunky house, swung drums and late-night low end. There is also ‘Pressure’, Kinch’s collaboration with OFFAIAH, plus ‘TR8’ with KC Gilmore and Drew Pree. Released on Walker & Royce’s Rules Don’t Apply, ‘TR8’ is built around deep sub pressure, loose drums and the kind of swing that keeps a room moving without trying too hard. The three friends started the record while jamming on TR-8s, and that shared studio chemistry runs right through it. For a debut podcast, Kinch has not played it safe. Fresh from dropping his latest EP, ‘My House’, on Jamie Jones’ label, the Brazilian producer steps into the Data Transmission Podcast with a mix packed full of groove, weight and proper club pressure. The EP marks his second outing on Hot Creations following last year’s ‘Need Your Body’, and it lands during a big summer run that includes his Paradise debut at UNVRS Ibiza. Not a bad month at the office. Across the mix, Volkoder keeps things moving with the same sharp, rhythm-led energy that has made him one of Brazil’s most reliable house exports. There is chunky low-end, rolling percussion, vocal heat and enough swing to keep basements, rooftops and late-night festival floors locked in. His own cuts sit front and centre too, from ‘My House’ and ‘Bassline Hits’ through to collaborations with Vintage Culture, James Hype and Anyma. It is a proper snapshot of where his sound is right now, groove-driven, club-ready and built with intent. The Lyon-born producer has been one of France’s most reliable house operators for well over a decade now, moving between underground club pressure and bigger room moments without losing the groove. The title track ‘Can’t Sleep’ does exactly what it needs to do. Looped vocals, sharp drums and a bassline with enough weight to keep the room locked in. ‘Now Do It’, his link-up with Fer BR, leans into crisp hats, warped vocal chops and a ghetto-tinged roll, while ‘Este Mambo’ with Cyava closes things with stripped-back percussion, minimal pressure and flashes of breaks. That same energy runs through this week’s mix. Tony keeps it direct, sweaty and built for movement, rolling through Jesse Perez, GABA, GruuvElement’s, Fer BR, Joshwa, Amine Edge, Neshga and a healthy stack of House Delivery heat. The bassline sits tight, the vocal does its job, and the whole thing carries that clean French house funk with a little New York disco sweat on it. No fuss. Just groove. The Spanish artist has been deep in electronic music since he was 16, first getting hooked on mixing before turning that obsession into a full career behind the booth. Since launching BNN Records in 2014, he’s built the label into a proper platform, with more than 100 releases and support from the likes of Marco Carola, Paco Osuna and Joseph Capriati. Now based in Ibiza, Jaco has held down his Tantra residency since 2021, where he also curates his weekly ‘Reunion’ event. Add in sets at Amnesia, Club Chinois, Eden, Bora Bora and Es Paradis, plus shows across Thailand, Indonesia, Colombia, Romania, Italy, France, Andorra and Portugal, and you get the picture. He’s not exactly short on passport stamps. This mix lands with plenty of intent. It moves through chunky tech house, Latin-leaning percussion, tight drums and those low-slung basslines built for basements, terraces and sweaty after-hours corners. There’s a strong dose of Jaco’s own sound in here too, including ‘Girls Wanna Have Fun’ on DPE and ‘Let’s Get Crazy’, his new Motel Calypso cut released on 1st May 2026. That one has a proper hips-first groove, with swinging drums, warm vocal energy and a bassline that does the heavy lifting without shouting about it. Originals, collabs, IDs, unreleased bits, it’s all very Raffi. No filler. No polite transitions into safe territory. Just bass-heavy club records built for sweaty rooms and people making questionable decisions at 3am. If you know Raffi, you’ll know he’s never taken himself too seriously either. His self-written bio still reads like a classified ad gone rogue, name-dropping exes like Ministry of Sound, Pacha Ibiza and Space Ibiza while promising “ragga-inspired tech house” and warning off bots and phish. Thankfully, the music backs up the chat. This mix is stacked with his own releases on labels like Stashed, Palmlands, Rock Bottom and DT Weapons, plus collaborations with Honey-B-Sweet, Dread MC, Johan S, Artichokes and more. There are a fair few unreleased IDs in here too, which usually means one thing, he’s road-testing future damage. No rush, no filler, just a steady build through groove, tone, and space. There’s a clear thread running through it. Records like Leaf Flying (Traumer Remix) and Metal Dreams set the early pace, locking into that deep, hypnotic pocket. Then it stretches out, pulling in moments from Blooming Fields, Rivaldo and Hired State Of Unconsciousness, the kind of cuts that don’t shout but stay with you. Derreuq’s style sits somewhere between deep house, progressive and techno, but it’s not boxed in. You can hear the range in the selections, from the warmth of Always is Never (Greener Grass Version) to the heavier pull of Hottrak. It’s controlled, patient, and built for long sets where the room is locked and the lights are low. As one half of Shades of Play, alongside producer Felipe Rivera, he brings that selector mindset front and centre. You can tell this is someone who’s played proper rooms, Flash, Halcyon, TBA Brooklyn, and understands how to hold a floor without overplaying it. This isn’t about big drops. It’s about flow. The kind of mix that works just as well at home as it does in a basement at 3am. Lock in and run it front to back.

Chicago’s Très Mortimer lands on the Data Transmission podcast this week, fresh from dropping his ‘PRADA’ release on his own Optics Records and bringing a mix packed with unreleased fire. The Optics boss has been carving out his own lane in recent years, pushing groove-led house rooted in Chicago tradition but built for modern floors. With releases across labels like Ministry of Sound, Mad Decent and Three Six Zero, plus support from the likes of Seth Troxler, BLOND:ISH and Diplo, Mortimer’s records have been doing damage from rooftops to sweaty basements. His mix for DT gives a proper snapshot of where his head’s at right now.
