Natalie is joined by Shardae and Lyssa of The Slovenly Trulls podcast to talk about how the lore surrounding D&D also perpetuates misogyny within gaming. Shardae and Lyssa will bring their expertise on specific tropes written into the lore and playing guides published by Wizards of the Coast that serve as a reminder that the game has some inherent rules and story pieces that are rooted in misogyny, racism, and other oppressive systems. The three women will then celebrate some of the game masters and live play streams who are doing the work to rewrite the narrative that only white men know how to play D&D and enjoy it.
