In this week's episode, Peter and Sue share the return of the Halloween Meet and Treat event for Disney Vacation Club Members, Island Tower incentives, Bay Lake Tower refurbishment news, and a permit request related to the Reflections site. DVC Halloween Meet and Treat returns this October  For the third year, the Halloween Meet and Treat event is returning and will take place at the Atlantic Dance Hall on the Boardwalk from 11 AM to 1 PM on October 14, 15, 28 and 29, Members can bring up to four guests and can only attend one of the dates. Members must have a reservation at a Walt Disney Resort on the event day.  Previous years' events featured character greets, snacks and treats, and a collectible popcorn bucket.  Source: Disney Vacation Club website, DVC News Island Tower Incentives Revealed for Current Members Incentives for the Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows were released on October 1st. Existing Members can get a discount of $10 per point off the $225 starting price for a 150 point contract. The refurbishment is scheduled to last until September 2025. Elevator bank closures have already been experienced and sky bridge closures also expected. In addition, Disney just announced the extended closure of the entire courtyard pool complex of Bay Lake Tower, including the Bay Cove Pool, whirlpool spa and the kids water play, from January to May 2026. Members will be allowed to use the main pool at the Contemporary Resort during the closure.  Source: DVC News Reflections work resuming? A new permit has been filed with the Federal Aviation Administration to erect a 240-foot crane on the site of the stalled Reflections - A Disney Lakeside Lodge project near Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Several other permits have been filed over the last few months which indicate possible construction in the area, but this is the most conclusive to indicate something large-scale may be happening here.
