E057 - Using AI Tools for Editing

In the Revision Wizards podcast episode E057, co-hosts VE Griffith and Catherine MH discuss AI editing software specifically beneficial for writers. They focus on Grammarly, Autocrit, and ProWritingAid, sharing their personal experiences and highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of each tool. The conversation covers features, pricing models (including free and paid versions), and integration capabilities with other writing software like Scrivener. Ultimately, they conclude that these AI tools are valuable for catching errors and improving writing style before involving human editors, but are not a replacement for the nuanced feedback a person can provide, especially in fiction.
