In the bourbon industry, you won’t find a place with more fanfare and buzz than the world famous Stitzel-Weller distillery in Shively, Kentucky. Once home to brands like Pappy Van Winkle, Old Fitzgerald, Rebel Yell, Cabin Still, and Old Weller, the site now is now owned by Diageo and home to the Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Experience. A few years ago, Diageo released Blade and Bow Bourbon which is said to contain the remnants of original Stitzel distillate mixed with younger whiskies made possible by their unique solera aging process.
