We talk about the challenges around self-belief and how Daniela was able to overcome her doubt to win double gold at the British. She also talks about her childhood and bunking off sports classes and not being active as a teenager. This has now all turned itself around to where Daniela now coaches other women, supporting them on their own journeys. Echoing on being stuck on the bottom in High Mount may have given some of us PTSD from our white belt days! Daniela offers her Purple Belt wisdom not just for Jiu Jitsu, but for life too. She shares more of her experience in her own training journey and her passion for supporting other women in the sport. Being a Dental Nurse, Daniela offers hygiene advice for mouth guards.
