陳瑞卿，是奇美博物館廣獲親子喜愛「動物廳」幕後推手。已退休的陳瑞卿回想，動物廳原本是朝向單獨動物館規劃，從「恐龍化石」到「660公分長頸鹿」，還打聽到美國挖掘恐龍化石出土還帶有皮膚，相當珍貴，原談妥要買下，但受限土地取得問題，從原本占地3000 坪才夠動物廳展示的規劃，限縮到只能從博物館室內挪出500 坪。儘管空間有限，陳瑞卿顧問還是將每隻動物排列生動。聽說奇美創辦人最得意的蒐藏不是提琴，而是奇美博物館的動物標本。看那高660 公分長頸鹿昂揚，讓觀者為之震撼。 -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
