E302 – Moana - What Would YOU Do?

Amber and Scott take a deep, albeit sleepy, dive into the live-action version of Moana , a film that left them questioning Disney’s pacing and the necessity of so many musical numbers. Between Scott’s hilarious confusion over the film's lore and Amber’s struggle to stay awake during the slower stretches, the duo finds brief moments of amusement in the Rock’s performance and the catchy, Oingo Boingo-esque "shiny" crab song. If you suddenly realized that a glowing, magical heart belonged to a terrifying lava monster, would you actually attempt to hand it back to them?   The conversation inevitably descends into pure chaos as Amber and Scott debate the anatomical proportions of a magical glowing gemstone and the absurdity of the film's "Godzilla-sized" Mother Nature creature. The most ridiculous highlight is undoubtedly their back-and-forth about the "Grinch-sized" heart, proving that even a legendary demigod is no match for their relentless, sleep-deprived commentary.
