In alignment with the Lunar New Year, Year of the Tiger, this session features Melissa Roxas of Little Sage Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine (littlesage.com) and Sapho Flor of Sapho Flor Integrative Wellness (saphoflor.com). Melissa Roxas (she/her/siya) is an acupuncturist, herbalist and owner of Little Sage in Long Beach, CA. She's passionate about providing natural and holistic ways of healing the mind, body, and spirit. She specializes in treating women's health and pediatrics. Sapho (they/them) is a queer, non-binary East Asian Medicine practitioner currently living on Ohlone territory (aka the Bay Area). Their parents immigrated here to turtle island from Iloilo and Zambales, PI. After practicing massage and bodywork for over a decade, they have expanded their practice to helping folks with chronic pain using acupuncture, herbs, and other modalities. Their focus is to encourage and support an individual’s movement towards freedom and a sense of wholeness by providing a safe space to heal and grow.
