East Meets West - Apple Story

1964, a group of innocent people unflinchingly took a journey which changed the entire world. These people spent more than 100 of days on a ship, in order to seek new opportunities and better hope for human survival. These pilgrims didn’t know that their boldness eventually set the record and the path for another great nation- the United States of America. Back in 2005, I embarked my own journey to the United States of America. Unlike those pilgrims, I was fortunate enough to have more dollars and belongs in my pocket. After 13 years, upon returning for 2 years, until today, I am still nostalgic about the lives in the US. Meanwhile, our guest today is also a returnee from America. She has a whole new story to share on our show, the reasons, the purpose and the confusions she had while living and studying in the US. Apple is the author of the latest book called” Across the Sea.” In her book, she layout specific information about her relationship with America and how she sees this nation in 2020.
