Easter has become a tradition for families to come together to eat candy, hide eggs, and dress up. This is not at all what Jesus had in mind when He came out of the grave with the keys to the kingdom, and all authority had been given over to Him after living a perfect, holy, and pure life crushing the enemy of death and Satan. The Third day represents the exclamation point of the gospel to which we are not ashamed. It’s the power to save, live, and be free. The same Spirit that empowered Jesus to live and do such mighty miracles is the same Spirit that raised Him from the grave. If you follow Jesus, what are you letting the Spirit of God do; bring life, healing, strength and freedom? That’s what He desires. After fasting for two weeks, praying for 24 Hours, and going through Freedom Weekend, let's expect God to do more so that we can collect the leftovers of the great abundance.
