Edgar Stam is de eerste persoon die ik ontmoet heb in Nederland. Voor het eerst van mijn leven ging ik achterop een fiets en hij nam mij op stap in Utrecht. Bij mijn eerste huwelijk was hij mijn getuige. En nu 29 jaar later interview ik hem. Hij spreekt 6 talen, heeft een commerciëel advocatenkantoor. Succesvol? Nee... dat vind hij niet. Zijn faillissement bracht schaamte maar nu willen mensen juist met hem praten omdat hij weet wat het is om failliet te zijn. Hij is een Boek-2-advocaat. Overnames, aandelen en aandeelhouders. Toch was hij liever niet advocaat geworden. Liever iets creatiever... iets in sales. Hij is ondernemer, charmant, lief en mijn vriend. Het leven in Nederland kan ik niet zonder hem voorstellen. Op belangrijke momenten is hij er altijd geweest voor mij.
