Edwin Humphreys

from Beti a'i Phobol Hosted by BBC Radio Cymru

Beti George yn holi y cerddor a'r cyn nyrs Edwin Humphreys. Nid yn aml mae Beti yn cael gwestai sydd wedi cael gyrfa mor amrywiol â hynny mewn meysydd mor wahanol i'w gilydd. Ar ôl gadael yr ysgol yn 16 mlwydd oed fe aeth Edwin Humphreys i'r fyddin a bu'n aelod o Fand Pres Catrawd Hussars. Yna bu'n gerddor yn chwarae gyda sawl band Cymraeg ac wedyn fe aeth i'r Brifysgol yn 30 mlwydd oed i astudio cerdd - ond wedi iddo raddio, doedd dim digon o waith ac felly penderfynodd gael gradd arall mewn nyrsio. Treuliodd flynyddoedd yn nyrsio mewn meysydd heriol, ac wedi ymddeol o'r swydd yna fe gafodd swydd arall yn gweithio gyda Gwasanaeth Cerdd Gwynedd. Mae'n Dad balch i 3 o blant ac mae'n dewis 4 cân yn cynnwys un gan y grŵp Pys Melyn gan fod ei fab Ceiri yn y band.
