Send us Fan MailCathy is a leadership and communications coach whose life is dedicated to the art of communication. A graduate of Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism, Cathy spent 22 years in Silicon Valley in public relations, event curation, and business development. In 2012 she turned a life-long passion for canine behavioral study to a career, opening The Hydrant Club in Las Vegas, NV. Applying expertise in communications to facilitate connection between dogs and their humans, Cathy realized she could transform the way people communicate with each other using the metaphor of the dog-human relationship. After completing Leadership training, Cathy launched Unleashed Leadership LLC – a transformational leadership and communication coaching business leading people to financial and personal success through effective and powerful communication. She developed programming that uniquely deconstructs and rebuilds clients’ understanding of communication on three pillars - individual/personal communication; group dynamics and facilitation; and conflict resolution. What makes Cathy’s work stand apart are the platforms she uses - dogs, classical music, and ice hockey. She draws metaphors from these areas to bring perspective that generates consistent and long-lasting results.Unleashed Leadership includes group and individual coaching, speaking, and the Talk Unleashed podcast.
