Γιατί οι υπουργοί κρύφτηκαν πίσω από δικαιολογίες του τύπου «είναι προσωπικό θέμα του κάθε πιστού αν θα κοινωνήσει»; Γιατί οι επιστήμονες σιώπησαν στην επικίνδυνη θεωρία «όταν υπάρχει βαθιά πίστη δεν υπάρχει λόγος να φοβόμαστε την Θεία Ευχαριστία»; Αν όμως είναι προσωπικό σου θέμα να χρησιμοποιείς το ίδιο κουτάλι με 5-10 άλλους ανθρώπους, γιατί δεν είναι προσωπικό σου θέμα και οι αγκαλιές και τα φιλιά και τελικά η μάσκα; Ο Σταύρος Θεοδωράκης επισημαίνει ότι την εποχή του κορονοϊού, οι μεταφυσικές φαντασιώσεις δεν απειλούν απλώς την λογική μας, απειλούν τις ζωές μας. Και οι σκεπτικιστές της πανδημίας είτε φορούν ράσα είτε φορούν αμπέχονο, πρέπει να αντιμετωπιστούν ως κίνδυνος για την κοινωνία.
