Electric Bar Tender This episode is Bill and Comedian/Uber Driver/Bar Tender Doug Phelps. Bill opens the pod telling how Doug asked Bill for a soda and when Bill offered a diet cherry Pepsi, Doug scoffed and went to the restaurant next door to get a regular Pepsi! Bill talks about a friend of the podcast Chris Luebbert who’s house caught fire early in the morning, Chris was able to get everyone out but, one of his dogs. Bill talked about the fire that claimed his parents home years ago and how you can rebuild, but what you do lose is irreplaceable. Chris does call in later in the podcast explianing what happened and how you may donate to a gofundme campaign for his family. Bill wonders what it was like to be on the plane where the off duty Alaskan Airline Pilot tried to shit down the engines. The off duty pilot was being flown back to California and got the “jump seat” in the cockpit. The story is unreal and could it be blamed on the legalization of psychedelic drugs in the North West? Bill tells a story about how a friend tried psychedelic's while on a school trip to New York City! Doug was not as experimental! Bill asks what do you no longer do because o reports on the news and social media? Doug says he now stops at least 10 feet from any car at a stop, in case something goes down he has room to maneuver a get away! Doug does a classic Dougy Fresh strip club DJ for Bill. Doug talks a bit about his time as a DJ at the Klassy Kat! Bill talks about the missing U of R Associate Professor of Economics and Management from Finland who is believed to be in danger. Doug thinks that we would see less of this if people were not released so quickly after committing a crime. Doug also thinks there should be a mandatory two years of service, Bill says he noticed the guys in college who spent time in the military first seemed to have their shit together. Bill plays audio of a guy blasting Hillary Clinton while she is moderating a panel at the Institute of Global Politics for ailing to call out JoeBiden for leading the U.S. into what he believes will be WWIII. Bill says he doesn’t have a problem with the message, but the way it was delivered. Bill and Doug do talk about the rumors around the Clinton’s from Epstein Island to White Water. Doug is willing to date a caller and Bill tells about DJ’s who did that! Chris Luebbert calls in and explains the details of the fire that displaced his family earlier in the day and how you may help. He also thanks Pet at Peace who helped Chris with his dog who perished in the fire and that reminds Doug of a couple he gave an Uber ride to Pets ant Peace and the story is very Doug! Racin’ Randy calls and Bill immediately asks if Randy won the lottery, who would he NOT tell? Randy answers even quicker! Doug recently was in a self driving car and Bill wants Randy’s thoughts on electric and self driving cars. Randy explains what he believes anyone who wants to be a car tech should be studying. Bill thinks electric cars are cool to drive, but isn’t convinced they are as good for the environment as we are led to believe and questions the State’s push to go electric. Bill thinks we need to be good stewards of the planet and says people shoudll do what they believe is right. Randy gives his picks for Martinsville this weekend and Bill asks Randy about raising kids and punishing them. There is a story in the Times of Wayne County about a woman who had CPS called on her and why. Since Doug is a bar tender, Bill had listeners text and e-mail in for advice.
