Elijah is a well known and loved prophet. The sealing power was restored to the Earth through him in Kirtland Ohio, on April 3, 1836. The returning of Elijah and the restoring of priesthood power was a fulfilling of prophecy and was given in preparation for the glorious work that would transpire in the latter days. Because the work of the Father and the Son is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal lives of mankind,  we have temples dotting the earth and the sealing of fathers to children is happening at an accelerated pace.
