Embracing the Unexpected - Emily Snyder Burrup

Emily Snyder Burrup was born in Cedar City, Utah but had the opportunity to live in various cities including Hong Kong.She served as a full-time missionary in the Russia, St. Petersburg mission. Sister Burrup received her bachelor’s from Brigham Young University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School. Sister Burrup began her career as a school teacher. She has worked for the Church in the Relief Society general offices as well as manager of Audience Engagement and Growth in the Priesthood and Family Department. She worked for Professor Clayton Christensen at the Harvard Business School and was the Chief of Staff for Magnolia in Waco, Texas. Sister Burrup recently started a new position as Chief of Staff for Degreed.Sister Burrup was recently married to Trent Burrup and they have three children and one grandchild. July 01, 2025 11:15 AM
