Jeff Morrin: Becoming
Jeff Morrin graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration. Jeff is currently the administration vice president and chief financial officer at BYU-Pathway Worldwide. He also worked as the university resources vice president at BYU-Idaho. Prior to working for the Church Educational System of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he worked in various financial roles for several corporations throughout the United States. Spiritual Fathers and Mothers - Elder K. Brett Nattress
Elder K. Brett Nattress was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2016. At the time of his call, he had been serving as president of the Arizona Gilbert Mission. Elder Nattress has served in numerous Church callings, including full-time missionary in the California Sacramento Mission, ward Young Men president, bishop, stake Young Men president, stake president, Area Seventy, and mission president. Elder Nattress attended Brigham Young University and received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Utah in 1990. He was employed in health-care administration as co-founder and president of Advanced Health Care Corporation. Kevin Brett Nattress was born in Pocatello, Idaho. Sister Laurie Jones grew up in Midland, Michigan. She attended Brigham Young University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Clothing and Textiles. She worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant. She has served in the Relief Society, Primary, and Young Women organizations as well as Seminary Teacher, Self Reliance specialist and Ward Missionary. Sister Jones is serving with her husband, Kurt, at the Salt Lake City Headquarters Mission, and assigned to Ensign College. Learning to Love in the Dust of His Footsteps - Shima Baughman
Shima Baradaran Baughman grew up in Goshen, New York after leaving Iran as a child refugee with her family. She attended Brigham Young University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She received a law degree at BYU Law School and clerked on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for Judge Jay S. Bybee. She served as a Fulbright Senior Scholar in Malawi then taught law at BYU and the University of Utah for thirteen years, serving as Associate Dean for her final years at the University of Utah. Sister Baughman returned to BYU in 2023 and is currently a Professor at BYU Law and a Distinguished Fellow at the Wheatley Institute. She can't wait to serve a mission. Seeing With an Eye of Faith - Jodi Chowen
Jodi Chowen earned a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Brigham Young University in which she studied college student thriving. She oversaw Career Services, Academic Internships, and Experiential Learning at BYU for more than a decade. She has taught student development and religion classes for several years, and is a certified Gallup Strengths coach. Sister Chowen worked at BYU-Hawaii for eight years helping students identify and achieve their academic and career goals, including facilitating connections for international students in their home countries. She currently serves as the Vice President of Student Success at Ensign College. Arnulfo Valenzuela Realivasquez was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. He has had many opportunities to serve in the Church including a full-time mission in Veracruz, Mexico, as bishop, counselor in a stake presidency, counselor in a mission presidency, and as an Area Seventy. Elder Valenzuela received a bachelor’s degree and master's degree in business administration and worked for Honeywell de Mexico, Sweda de Mexico and Durman de Mexico. He was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2013. Elder Valenzuela now serves in the Presidency of the Seventy and assists members of the Twelve Apostles in supervising the North America Central, Brazil, Caribbean, and Pacific Areas.February 17, 2026 11:15 AM

Making and Acting on Inspired Decisions - Elder Richard J. Maynes
Elder Richard J. Maynes was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in April 1997 and given Emeritus status in October 2020. Elder Maynes previously served as the Executive Director of the Family History Department and as an assistant executive director in both the Priesthood and Family Department and the Missionary Department. He has also served as President of the Philippines and South America West Areas. During his numerous years of Church service, he also served as a full-time missionary in the Uruguay and Paraguay Mission and as president of the Mexico Monterrey Mission (1989–1992). Elder Maynes formerly owned and was CEO of a company specializing in factory automation. He received a bachelor of science degree from Brigham Young University in business management and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Elder Edward B. Rowe was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the April 2025 general conference. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Twelfth Quorum of the Seventy in the Utah Area. Elder Rowe has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Florida Ft. Lauderdale Mission, elder quorum president, high councilor, bishop, and mission president. Elder Rowe received a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in public policy and a juris doctor degree from the University of Chicago. He practiced international law in Washington DC and overseas. He has served as chief executive officer for the Stirling Foundation since 2019. When They Needed My Help Was I There - Sharon Eubank
Sharon Eubank was born in Redding, California. She served as a full-time missionary for the Church in the Finland Helsinki Mission and received a bachelor’s degree in English from Brigham Young University. After graduation, she taught English as a second language in Japan, worked as a legislative aide in the U.S. Senate and owned a retail education store in Provo, Utah. Sister Eubank served as first counselor in the general presidency of the Relief Society, as well as in numerous ward and stake leadership positions. Since 1998 Sister Eubank has been employed by the Church’s Welfare Department, helping to establish and direct the work in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. The Family: A Proclamation to the World, Q&A with President and Sister Kusch
President Bruce C. Kusch became the 13th president of Ensign College on April 17, 2017. He previously served as the Chief Academic Officer from March 2016 until assuming his current role. President Kusch began his Church Educational System service in August 2002, joining the Business Management Faculty at Brigham Young University-Idaho. While there, he also served as the Associate Academic Vice President for Curriculum and Associate Dean for Online Programs. Before joining the BYU-Idaho faculty, President Kusch worked in the high technology industry in Silicon Valley, CA. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix, an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management, and a PhD in instructional design from Idaho State University. President Kusch served as a full-time missionary in the Guatemala-El Salvador Mission, and from June 2012 to June 2015, President and Sister Kusch served as mission leaders of the Mexico Cuernavaca Mission. He currently serves as a Sunday School teacher in his ward.Sister Alynda Kusch is a graduate of BYU-Idaho. Following her graduation, she taught for the BYU-I Culinary Arts department until she and President Kusch left for their missionary service in Mexico. She currently serves as a Sunday School teacher in her ward. Both President and Sister Kusch were born and raised in Southern California. Anxiously Engaged - Linda Campbell
Linda Campbell was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but has called Bountiful, Utah, home for most of her life. She worked in the mortgage industry until 2010, when she paused her career to raise her children. She returned to the workforce in 2022, joining Ensign College, where she now serves as Manager of Talent Acquisition in Human Resources—a role she loves for the chance it gives her to connect with people.She has served in many church callings over the years, mainly in Young Women’s and Primary, but her favorite has been Primary pianist. She currently serves as Second Counselor in the Young Women’s Presidency.She and her husband, Chad, are proud parents to two teenage sons. Linda is currently working toward a degree in Business Management. Steven J. Lund served as Young Men General President from April 2020 to August 2025. His past Church assignments have included service as a member of the Young Men general board, Area Seventy, mission president in the Georgia Atlanta Mission (2003–2006), coordinator of the Provo City Center Temple Dedication Committee, and full-time missionary in the Netherlands Amsterdam Mission. President Lund received an undergraduate degree in communications and a law degree, both from Brigham Young University.He worked as an attorney before becoming president and CEO of a large Utah-based cosmetics company. He is currently its executive chairman of the board of directors. He is also a former regent of the Utah System of Higher Education. Steven J. Rory C. Bigelow was born in Concord, California. He obtained a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Utah and a master's degree in educational leadership from Brigham Young University. As a young man he served a mission in Illinois Chicago (Spanish-speaking) and throughout his life has held various church callings including Bishop (twice), Stake President (twice) and Mission President in the Brazil Recife Mission. He has worked for Seminaries and Institutes of Religion for 30 years in various roles. His current role is as the Associate Administrator overseeing S&I's global workforce, curriculum, training, and as a member of the BYU-Pathway President’s Executive Group. Trust the Lord - Eric Karl
Eric B Karl was born in Albuquerque NM and was blessed to live all over the United States growing up. He attended Brigham Young University where he earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in electrical engineering. Afterward, he worked as a computer engineer in California and Arizona before joining the faculty at BYU-Idaho in 2004. While there he continued his education and received a PhD in Instructional Design from Idaho State University. Brother Karl currently serves as the Vice President of Curriculum at BYU-Pathway Worldwide. Discipleship and Divine Identity - Daniel Rogers
Daniel Rogers is a native of Southern California, to a big family with deep pioneer roots. As a young man, he served the Spanish-speaking community of New York City as a missionary. Upon his return, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education at California State University Fullerton with an emphasis in choral education, later his master’s degree from Brigham Young University in Music history, and finally his PhD in musicology at Indiana University with a minor in Renaissance studies. Brother Rogers has taught music theory and musicology at various educational institutions, including developing an international program of study for music in Italy in collaboration with Umbra Institute in the city of Perugia. He currently works at Ensign College as Director of Curriculum. In his ward, he serves as the choir director and Elder’s Quorum teacher. Celestial Focus: Joy in the Journey - David Paulsen
David Paulsen joined Ensign College as CIO in January of 2025. Previously, he worked for the real estate investment entities of the Church for 35 years. He directed the technology initiatives, infrastructure, and systems for these corporations and properties of the Church. David has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.He served a mission in Trujillo, Peru. He has served as Elders Quorum President, Ward Executive Secretary, Stake Technology Specialist, and for several years in various callings in the Young Men’s Organization. Emily Snyder Burrup was born in Cedar City, Utah but had the opportunity to live in various cities including Hong Kong.She served as a full-time missionary in the Russia, St. Petersburg mission. Sister Burrup received her bachelor’s from Brigham Young University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School. Sister Burrup began her career as a school teacher. She has worked for the Church in the Relief Society general offices as well as manager of Audience Engagement and Growth in the Priesthood and Family Department. She worked for Professor Clayton Christensen at the Harvard Business School and was the Chief of Staff for Magnolia in Waco, Texas. Joseph Sybrowsky grew up in Provo Utah where he attended BYU until his mission. He served his two-year mission in the Campinas Brazil Mission. After his return, he studied at BYU-Hawaii earning a bachelor’s degree in international business management. He continued his education with select master’s level courses in Hospitality Administration from UNLV. Brother Sybrowsky began his career working for Marriott International where he managed hotels in Idaho and Utah. He also worked for BYU-Pathway with responsibility for Idaho and Utah regions. Joshua Burt grew up in Canyonville, Oregon. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication from Brigham Young University–Idaho and a Master's degree in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning from Boise State University. Brother Burt currently works as a Human Resources Information Systems Manager and has worked at Ensign College for 12 years. He served a full-time mission in Birmingham, England. He and his wife, Andrea, are the parents of four children.

Richard Elms grew up in California and Utah. He served a full-time mission in the Washington DC North Mission. Upon his return, he attended Utah State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. He furthered his education and received a master’s degree in Secondary Ed and an Ed. D. from Washington State University. He has taught seminary and institute for 30 years in Washington, Michigan, and Utah. He married Lisa Gardner in the Salt Lake Temple. Sister J. Anette Dennis was born in Provo, Utah, to C. Lamar Herrin and Patricia Stewart Herrin. Sister Dennis studied elementary education and Spanish at Brigham Young University. She is married to Jorge Dennis, and they have four children and nine grandchildren. Sister Dennis has served in many assignments, including the Primary general advisory council, the Davis County church communications council, mission leader with her husband in the Ecuador Guayaquil West Mission, assistant to the matron of the Guayaquil Ecuador Temple, temple ordinance worker, Primary president, counselor in the Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society organizations, as well as a teacher in those organizations. Elder Jed E. Jensen was born and raised in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming. He grew up in the small town of Byron, Wyoming. He received an AAS degree from Casper College, a Bachelor of Independent Study degree from Brigham Young University, and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Wyoming. Elder Jensen is currently serving as a full-time missionary assigned to the Utah Salt Lake City Headquarters mission with an assignment to labor at Ensign College, where he is a Student Success Advisor.Elder Jensen is married and sealed to Sister Joyce Jensen. President Philip Howes: Being Purpose Driven
An address given by President Philip Howes, delivered on April 01, 2025, at Ensign College. Sister Judith Howes and President Philip Howes both grew up in Adelaide, South Australia. President Howes served a mission in Peru. President Howes graduated from dental school and Sister Howes graduated as a schoolteacher. President Howes opened his practice in 1978 and worked as a sole practitioner his entire career. Sister Howes taught full-time until the birth of their first child, then returned to part-time work in the same school that their children attended 11 years later.The Howes' retired in 2008 and received a call to serve as President and Matron of the Adelaide Temple. Upon their release in 2011, they moved to Sydney, where they served as Mission Leaders in the Australia Sydney Mission. In 2017, they moved to Auckland, New Zealand to serve as Mission Leaders in the New Zealand MTC. In 2020 President and Sister Howes began serving as missionaries in the South America Northwest Area as secretaries to the Area Presidency. Due to covid 19, they served for 23 months via Zoom before finally receiving their visas and traveling to Peru, where they continued to serve for 8 months.

An address given by Sister Judith Howes, delivered on April 01, 2025, at Ensign College.Sister Judith Howes and President Philip Howes both grew up in Adelaide, South Australia. President Howes served a mission in Peru.President Howes graduated from dental school and Sister Howes graduated as a schoolteacher. President Howes opened his practice in 1978 and worked as a sole practitioner his entire career. Emily Reynolds: Life on the Covenant Path
An address given by Emily Reynolds, delivered on March 25, 2025, at the Ensign College. Emily Reynolds was raised in Boston, Massachusetts and Provo, Utah. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology at Brigham Young University, where she was then adjunct faculty. Sister Reynolds is now the Assistant Director of the Wheatley Institute at Brigham Young University. with primary responsibility for student programming. Sister Reynolds and her husband, Mark, have seven children and 36 grandchildren.

An address given by Massimo De Feo, delivered on March 18, 2025, at the Conference Center Theater.Elder Massimo De Feo was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2016. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Third Quorum of the Seventy in the Europe Area. He is currently serving in the North America Southeast Area Presidency.Elder De Feo has served in numerous Church callings, including full-time missionary from 1981 to 1983 in the Italy Rome Mission, branch president, district president, counselor in a bishopric, stake high councilor, stake president, and Area Seventy.After serving as a full-time missionary, he began his career in international relations at the American Embassy in Rome. Elder De Feo was a member of several committees of the U.S. government for bilateral agreements on Social Security and worked as the Federal Benefits Operations Supervisor at the American Embassies in Rome and Paris for more than 30 years. He also worked as the Deputy Regional Officer of the Social Security Administration for the Europe South, North Africa, and Middle East Regions.Massimo De Feo was born in Taranto, Italy, on December 14, 1960. He married Loredana Galeandro in August 1984. They are the parents of three children.

Elder Marcus B. Nash was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2006.He has served as President of the South America West and South America Northwest Areas and as assistant in the North America Northeast and North America Southeast Areas. He has also served as an Assistant Executive Director in the Church History and Correlation Departments, Executive Director of the Correlation Department, and as a member of the Boundary and Leadership Change Committee. He is currently serving as a member of the Africa West Area Presidency.Elder Nash graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and earned a law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU. He was a partner in a major Seattle law firm at the time of his call as a Seventy.Elder Nash has served in many Church callings, including full-time missionary in the El Salvador San Salvador Mission, stake president, bishop, ward young men president, elders quorum president, and gospel doctrine teacher.Marcus Bell Nash was born in Seattle, Washington, on March 26, 1957. He married Shelley Hatch in May 1979. They are the parents of five children.

Elder David F. Evans: Disciples of the Lord
Elder David F. Evans was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2005. He was released from this assignment and granted Emeritus Status at the October 2021 general conference.In 1976, Elder Evans received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Utah in community health education. In 1979 he received his juris doctor from Brigham Young University. His professional career involved working as an attorney and as an executive for an investment banking firm.Prior to his call as a General Authority, Elder Evans has served in a number of Church callings, including full- time missionary in the Japan Mission, bishop, stake president, and president of the Japan Nagoya Mission (1998–2001).

Elder Rob Gibbon: How to Make a Good Decision
After serving in the Utah Salt Lake City Mission from 1975 to 1977, Elder Gibbon married his high school sweetheart, Cathy Caldow, and they spent a short time in Provo, Utah, attending Brigham Young University, before returning to Canada, where Elder Gibbon operated a business for about 12 years. In 1991, the Gibbons returned to BYU with their four children and earned bachelor’s degrees in education. Upon graduation from BYU, Elder Gibbon worked for School District 23 (Central Okanagan) as a Resource Teacher and then as a District Student Support Services Coordinator, where he developed Resource and Transition to Employment programming. He also taught for 20 years in the Continuing Education Department at Okanagan College. After earning his master’s degree from Gonzaga University, Elder Gibbon lectured as an adjunct instructor at the University of British Columbia and Gonzaga University for 10 years, teaching graduate courses in Psychology of Learning, Inclusive Education, and Classroom-based Learning Assessment. When they retired in 2014, Elder and Sister Gibbon served as CES Missionaries in the Canada Winnipeg Mission. They are currently serving full-time missions at Ensign College. Elder and Sister Gibbon have four children and twelve grandchildren.

An address given by Taylor Randall, delivered on February 18, 2025, a the Conference Center Theater.President Randall was born in Berkeley, California, and raised in Salt Lake City. He did his undergraduate at the University of Utah and his graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania.President Randall joined the U in 1998 as a professor of accounting and led the nationally ranked David Eccles School of Business for 12 years before he was appointed the president in 2021.President Randall, the first alum in 50 years to hold this position, has an infectious energy and passion for his alma mater. He has set a bold goal for the University of Utah to become a top 10 public university with unsurpassed societal impact. He believes the U can revolutionize the student experience, change the world through research, and serve our state to improve the lives of all 3.5 million Utahns.Some of the highlights of his tenure thus far include repledging the U’s commitment to serve the state of Utah, opening centers for climate science and policy and financial technology (fintech) education and investment, building several new living-learning housing projects, announcing a hospital in West Valley, initiating a comprehensive strategic planning process, and launching a Responsible AI Initiative.

She attended Brigham Young University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and later received an MBA, also from BYU.Julie has been the Student Life Vice President at Brigham Young University for five years. She served as a missionary in the Hamburg, Germany Mission and now serves in her ward Relief Society presidency. Julie and her husband, Alan, are the parents of four children and grandparents of four.

Kevin Hallstrom: Seek for and Expect Miracles in Your Life
An address given by Brother Kevin Hallstrom, delivered February 4 , 2025, a the Conference Center Theater.Kevin Hallstrom was raised on the east shore of beautiful Oahu, Hawaii. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, where he received a Bachelor of Social Studies Teaching. Around that time, he also served a mission in New Caledonia and learned French.After teaching geography in West Jordan for two years, Brother Hallstrom returned to the islands to study law at the University of Hawaii, where he received a Juris Doctorate. He worked as a real estate and business transaction attorney for a time and then started a position as a Seminaries & Institutes Coordinator. Kevin married the amazing Melanie Wiser in the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple in 2005, and together they have four outgoing children.Now Brother Hallstrom has the great privilege of witnessing learners come closer to Jesus Christ and receive the precious blessings of His gospel.

Matt Driggs: Remember the Power of Covenants in Our Lives
An address given by Matt Driggs, delivered January 28, 2025, at the Conference Center Theater. Matthew Driggs grew up in Syracuse, Utah. He attended Weber State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish/Health Promotion. He continued his education by receiving a Master’s degree in Professional Communication and a Certificate of Proficiency in Programming Essentials at Weber State University.vBrother Driggs has been employed at Weber State University in the Office of the Registrar and now works in Enrollment Services at Ensign College. He continues to work as an adjunct professor of Communication at Weber State University. He served a mission in San Jose, Costa Rica from 2005 to 2007.Upon returning from his mission, he married his high school sweetheart Alyson Dabb on August 3rd, 2007. They have three children. He currently serves as Bishop in his ward.
