En estos dos últimos meses he tenido ocasión de estar en el Día del Emprendedor en La Rioja, Zaragoza y Bilbao. Y es notable la cantidad de personas que hay dispuestas a tirar adelante sus propios proyectos, a luchar por llevar a la realidad su sueño. El tema de los emprendedores está de moda, incluso se está utilizando como arma política para arañar votos. Como toda moda, puede resultar exagerada, a veces descontextualizada e incluso cansina. Como también es cierto que son muchas las voces que opinan que España no es un buen lugar para los emprendedores porque no va con nuestro carácter. Algunas encuestas, como la realizada entre jóvenes universitarios andaluces apunta a que el 42 % quiere ser funcionario y el 28% emprendedor.
