El reporte Monitor Global de Emprendimiento (GEM) Guatemala es una investigación sobre el perfil del emprendedor, su impacto económico y su contribución a la sociedad. El estudio lo realiza un grupo de expertos desde el Centro de Emprendimiento Kirzner (KEC) de la Universidad Francisco Marroquín desde el 2009 a la fecha. El objetivo de esta investigación en Guatemala sirve para comprender el potencial que tiene la actividad emprendedora y promover el desarrollo basado en los principios que rigen una sociedad de personas que actúan libre y responsablemente.
