En el banco (no)

from Español Ágil

¡Hola! Mándanos temas, gramática y comentarios: Correo: [email protected] X/Twitter: @Espanol_Agil --- Beginner A1.5 Spanish listening practice. Topic: at the bank in clear, slow Mexican Spanish: taking a queue number, waiting in line, talking to a bank teller, opening an account (abrir una cuenta) and getting a debit card (la tarjeta de débito), asking for a recommendation (¿qué me recomienda?), a pun on cuenta (bank account vs. the check), a missing ID (no tengo mi identificación) solved with a passport, date of birth, signing, the PIN pad and the bank app. Meet Diego, a young, polite bank teller. Grammar focus: negation (a1-negacion): no + verb, no tengo, no puedo, no hay, nunca, nada. Format: Spanish-only narrator explanations, the same dialogue twice (slow, then a bit faster), three comprehension questions. Timed transcript included.
