I started gymnastics at the age of six and continued until I was sixteen. I began training in Lugano, then moved to Tenero, where I also attended school to have more time for training. After taking a short break from sports, I wanted to try something new and began CrossFit, mainly because there was a box near where I lived. My first competition was in 2018 in Italy in the teen category, which I won.Due to military service and COVID, I didn’t train much and didn’t compete for about three years. In 2021, I moved to Bern for my studies (Major in Sports and Minor in Psychology). In Bern, I met my current coach, who also owns the gym, and started taking training more seriously, moving from classes to open gym sessions.I qualified for my first Semifinal in 2023, missing the Games by one spot. I missed it again in 2024 but finally qualified in 2025. I’ve also competed twice at the Functional Fitness World Championships and won both times. This year, I’m also competing in the World Fitness Project.--EPISODE LINKS :https://www.instagram.com/colinbosshard/--CHAPTERS :0:00 - Introduction0:40 - Who is Colin Bosshard2:20 - Coming from Gymnastics into CrossFit11:45 - Pillars of Recovery for better Performance29:00 - Competing in CrossFit Competitions45:00 - Dealing with a Difficult Result50:00 - Functional Fitness World Championships53:40 - 2025 CrossFit Season57:25 - First CrossFit Games Experience1:01:25 - Competing in the World Fitness Project1:04:15 - Stress Fracture and Injury Recovery1:08:30 - 2026 Fitness Goals for Colin--CONNECT :► Subscribe for more videos here: https://www.youtube.com/@upsidestrengthen► Programs & Courses: https://www.upsidestrengthacademy.com/english► Twitter: https://twitter.com/seanseale►Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/upside_strength_en--WHO IS SEAN ?Sean is a performance coach based in France.
