from Drošinātājs · host Rihards Plūme, Dīvs Reiznieks

"Many people have woken up from the hallucination that Russian culture is similar to ours or is the same", says Natalia Behma, a Ukrainian professional singer who arrived in Latvia with just one backpack on her shoulders and was accepted into the State Academic Choir “Latvija” just to sing in Latvian three days later. During this time, she has assessed Latvia as a dream place for a choir musician, while at the same time steadfastly fighting for the popularization of Ukrainian culture and the protection of her country.   This is a complete interview without translation from the Latvian Radio’s podcast "Drošinātājs" ("The Fuse"), dedicated to the people of Ukraine and their fight against Russian aggression.  Links to the full version of the podcast can be found here: linktr.ee/drosinatajs
