“Encouragement”

Encouragement is the job of the self. Now we like to be encouraged by our friends and family, and sometimes even strangers. But the real job belongs to the self. In my case the self is me, and when it comes to encouraging myself, I first have to be very transparent with myself. I have to understand the WHAT behind the WHY. Because once I understand that well, then the picture of my “Why” gets a whole lot clearer. Encouragement is like fuel, and we need it to go, to be better, to be the best versions of ourselves. Without encouragement what do we have? We have a bunch of dreams being fueled by wishful thinking. Encouragement can also come from any where at any time. That’s one of the really cool things, I believe is special about encouragement and it’s contagious. Encouragement is a strong force and it’s very hard to shut it down.
