El flamenco es un género artístico-musical, donde se conjugan el canto, el toque, la música y el baile de las diferentes culturas que convivieron en Andalucía en el siglo XV. Desde entonces su estilo único e historia se ha trasmitido de generación en generación de forma oral. Desde el año 2011 se celebra el Día Internacional del Flamenco, fecha que busca recordar el día exacto en que la UNESCO, reconoció a la cultura andaluza como patrimonio de la humanidad. Hoy, escucharemos la Danza de la Molinera (fandango) y la Danza del Molinero (farruca) del compositor español Manuel de Falla, perteneciente al movimiento musical nacionalista, interpretadas por la Orquesta Sinfónica de Boston dirigida por Seiji Osawa.
