Ending China's Dog Meat Trade!

This week a protest took place outside the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles. More than a hundred people demonstrated, demanding the Chinese government end the horrific dog meat trade in China, where pets are stolen from yards and right out of people's hands and then tortured to death! Yes, no exaggeration. The tormentors believe that torturing the dog makes the dog meat better at combating virility problems. This is sick. Many Chinese Americans are battling this horror and want to help the Chinese people, most of whom do not support this barbarism but are afraid to speak out because of the repressive government. What can we in the United States do to stop this nightmare? Also, while we point the finger, should we also look in the mirror and admit our treatment of millions of factory farm animals is also barbaric and unnecessary.
