Les enfants à haut potentiel (communément appelés HPI), présentent un fonctionnement intellectuel particulier. Raisonnement différent, cheminements de pensées singuliers, maîtrise de certains savoirs précoces comme la lecture ou le vocabulaire, hypersensibilité... Des compétences et des traits de caractère nombreux, mais néanmoins pas toujours identiques d’un enfant à un autre. Pour faire ce dépistage, un test de quotient intellectuel est proposé avec un professionnel.
