English Out There Online Case Study - Waldek, Poland - Episode 9a
from English Out There · host Languages Out There
Lesson 9 - modals of probability, possibility and certainty...Waldek and I get on so well and seem to have got into a bit of a groove so our social learning scenarios go on longer than they would normally for someone using English Out There materials and speaking to seven or eight English speakers to practise. Waldek does have other people he speaks to using the same language and I am pretty sure they speak for a lot shorter periods. In this episode I corrected him a bit more on a couple of things I wanted to highlight. There are four recordings...a, b, c and d. The last one (d) is more about the business development side of our relationship. Here is the text chat history:[10:53:09] Waldeck: Hi Jason , how are you?[10:54:07] Jason West: Yeah, ok, you?[10:54:21] Jason West: 5 mins? need to grab a coffee! :)[10:54:32] Waldeck: ok no problem[10:55:02] Jason West: ta![10:55:20] Waldeck: ta-yes[11:13:55] Jason West: sorry 1 min, someone called...[11:14:08] Jason West: eek, sorry!Waldeck[11:16:14] Jason West: ok[11:16:33] *** Call from Waldeck, duration 15:10. ***[11:22:35] Jason West: revenge[11:28:17] Jason West: freer[11:28:21] Jason West: free[11:30:18] Jason West: multi-tasking[11:30:59] Jason West: ipad[11:31:42] *** Call ended ***[11:31:53] Waldeck: 15[11:32:04] *** Call to Waldeck, duration 14:58. ***[11:33:06] Jason West: limitations[11:33:28] Jason West: evagelise[11:33:33] Jason West: evangelise[11:36:41] Jason West: voice recognition[11:43:28] Jason West: workaround[11:45:45] Jason West: bomb[11:45:47] Waldeck: bumb[11:47:02] *** Call ended ***[11:47:17] *** Call to Waldeck, duration 15:06. ***[12:02:33] *** Call to Waldeck, duration 08:30. ***
