English Rose Residential Homes and their Wellbeing Approach to Care

from Alzheimer's Speaks · host Lori La Bey

Today we will hear from two English Rose dementia experts, Katie Rinehimer, their Director of Quality of Life and Zach Parlier, their Director of Team Member Development.  The English Rose Wellbeing Model of Care will be discussed along with examples of how utilizing this model has positively impacted their residents.  English Rose has been providing residential care for those with memory loss since 1997.  They have experienced how many individuals with memory loss thrive in a smaller scale home environment with a significant focus on wellbeing.  The challenge is that wellbeing is different for every individual, and the factors contributing to wellbeing often change.  Unlike a purely medical approach to health, the English Rose care model centers on wellbeing and you will see that’s where they shine We are live today so call in and ask your questions or make a comment.
