Ep 021: The Healing Power of Finding Your Voice

In Episode #21 John and Lisa talk about the power of finding your voice. During this episode, John mentions Al-Anon, an organization that describes itself as a group that provides help and hope for families and friends of alcoholics. It is a sister organization to Alcoholics Anonymous.  John mentions in a story Loma Linda Hospital, a large Adventist hospital located in Loma Linda California. He also talks about the Ronald McDonald House that is located near Loma Linda Hospital.  John relays that at an Al-Anon meeting he met a lovely woman who taught him Reiki. Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing process of the patient's body and estore physical and emotional well-being.
