Welcome to The Brazen Maven Society, a podcast for women and men navigating the bold, beautiful, complicated decades after 50. If you’ve ever felt like this stage of life is supposed to be quieter, smaller, or somehow less important… we’re here to say the opposite. This is the era where wisdom meets freedom, where experience finally has a voice, and where the rules get rewritten. Hosted by Gabriela Brown and Sasha Travassos, The Brazen Maven Society explores the real conversations people over 50 are having—but rarely hear out loud. We talk about aging, relationships, health, family dynamics, grief, reinvention, finances, beauty, retirement, and the strange and wonderful process of becoming fully ourselves. Some episodes will bring in experts—doctors, financial advisors, therapists, and industry leaders—to help us navigate the practical side of life. Other episodes will simply be two friends talking honestly about the things we’re all going through but don’t always say. Expect insight, humor, a little irreverence, and a lot of truth.
