Sharlene Kayne of S.Kayne.Designs is a self taught collage artist.  She creates collages out of torn handmade-paper sourced from around the world, including Thailand, Nepal, India, Japan and Mexico. Each collage she creates takes several weeks to complete, and she generally has 3 or 4 going at a time. Sharlene loves recreating old master paintings as collages, as well as creating vintage style portraits, and she often adds a bit of whimsy to some of her collages. At the age of 60, Sharlene has reinvented herself as a successful entrepreneur, home owner, and designer of her life.
