Ep 110 | Live life to the full. Josie Hughes from Highfield Professional Services.

from The Lonely Marketers · host The Lonely Marketers

Getting Josie on this show has been a long time coming. With almost two decades of recruitment marketing expertise, the majority in a single company, we have wanted to dive into her experiences creating customer-first, purpose-led marketing strategies for a long time. Tragically, this didn't happen when we originally planned because Josie's husband, Sam, had just been informed that his treatment for bowel cancer was not working. Sam passed away in September 2021. But Josie still wanted to join us on the show, after leaving Gattaca and joining the company Sam co-founded - Highfield Professional Services. Not just to talk about people-centric marketing, design-led thinking, nappy designs and building an employer brand service before it was cool - but how we all deal with loss. We'll be forever grateful for Josie opening the door to an incredibly personal subject and her insight into marketing, career choices and purpose. And thank you to Paiger for their continued support to allow these conversations to happen.
