Ep. 112 - 42% Increase to Monthly Payments???

This week we break down some of the details surrounding the proposed increase to Home Insurance Premiums and how that could affect home owners. We talk about not only how these changes come about, but also a discussion on why. Homeowners Insurance Premiums are paid by most through their monthly Mortgage Payments and so with a rise in Premiums, most will see a rise to their monthly Mortgage Payments. In an already expensive housing environment… and rising… increases like these make a big impact. Of course, all of this is not without cause and in some cases is the result of a sharp increase in Jury Trial Class Action Lawsuits and the toll that is taking on Insurance Companies across the country.
