EP. 115: How to Mind Your Mind

from We're Talking Shift Hosted by Loree Bischoff

You can determine whether someone is physically strong with one glance. But what does mental strength look like? Fearlessness, adaptability, & emotional maturity are characteristics of a mentally strong person. Just like with our biceps or triceps, we can develop that mental strength by exercising our minds using the techniques I’m sharing. Learning how to manage our thoughts puts us in control of how we feel & behave. Emotions can be reigned in with simple tools like deep breathing, counting to ten, or even singing & dancing! Emotions really spiraling out of control? Listen to hear one of my favorite tricks for regaining self-control. When we change the meaning we’ve attached to a situation, our feelings around it change too. Remember, we are in control of our thoughts, emotions & behaviors. Give your mind a workout by pressing play to make a shift towards superhuman mental strength!
