Sonic has had a checkered history across the board, with a loud and often-unsatisfied fanbase and projects that are seemingly cursed to be divisive or written off altogether. One such project was the live action movie, its first trailer living in infamy for its out-of-date style and historically off-the-mark design for its titular character -- so much so that they delayed the movie to fix it. The final design was warmly accepted, but is the movie itself any god outside of that?
