IT DEPENDS! 🤣 For you Buyers out there: In our opinion there are better questions you should be asking... Be careful before you make decisions that treat real estate like a short term stock trade and realize the enormous financial benefits to owning and holding real estate sooner rather than later. For you Sellers out there: First… understand your personal reasons for wanting to sell and ask the question, “When do I want to be a Buyer?” Answering these questions will help you think through when it’s right for YOU to sell. Remember that for some, selling is purely a strategic investment decision, but for most selling a home is a highly personal decision that should not be treated like an investment portfolio. 2nd… understand your home in light of your market and whether you want to compete with more sellers or with fewer of them. Ask yourself if you have a home that can compete in the competitive Spring market or if you would be better off selling before the Blue Ribbon Winner hits the market.
