In Psalm 119:81–88, we see a believer who is weary, waiting, and wounded, yet still clinging to the promises of God. His soul feels dried like a smoke-blackened wineskin, but his hope remains anchored in the Word. Even under persecution, delay, and emotional fatigue, he refuses to forsake God’s precepts.
