A healthy portion of fat is necessary for our diet to supply our bodies with key nutrients. Fatty acids supply energy to the muscles, heart, and other organs, as well as functioning as cell membrane building blocks and a source of energy storage for the body. The omega-3 fatty acid is one of the necessary fatty acids. It is a form of fat that the human body cannot produce on its own and can be obtained through the foods we take. They are essential fat, which means they must be ingested in order for our brain to perform well. They may help lower the risk of scalp problems, heart disease, infertility, miscarriage, and arthritis.
