Ep. 121: Why Independent Women Have a Harder Time Falling in Love

from Life in Progress · host Angely Dub

People have always asked me about this, I was not given an option in life but to be strong for myself. Growing up without a Father changes you and how look at the world. I have seen people mistreating my Mom over money and I promised myself to work so hard that money won’t be ever a problem of my life. This has became my biggest strength and I don’t blame men being intimidated by me, they are used to girls seeking for help and displaying vulnerability. Before I questioned myself about this but now I have fully accepted myself for who I am. And someday I know everything will work out how it supposed to, compromising for the right one will be so worth it.Learn about the British Council's Women in STEM Scholarships at https://www.britishcouncil.ph/.
