January is National Stalking Awareness Month, and while most victims know their stalkers, in rare cases a person may be targeted without even knowing it. In the spring of 2002, 23-year-old Stephanie Bennett was found murdered in her apartment. After her body was discovered, neighbors at her apartment complex came forward to report they had seen a mysterious man looking into Stephanie's window in the weeks before her death. Two years later, police were able to apprehend the suspect, learning it was not the first time he had murdered a complete stranger.
