There’s a Greek word used to describe Jesus when He sees people—and it doesn’t mean what you think it means. σπλαγχνίζομαι. (splagchnizomai) It means He felt compassion in His gut. Deep. visceral. unavoidable. And here’s the problem— Most men have spent their entire lives avoiding that exact place.
