EP. 132: Success Looks so Different Than I Imagined

I thought success was going to be easier and smoother but it is absolutely not like how I imagined it years ago. Success is something you don’t even feel, it does not last, it gets harder and tougher to maintain it when you are already on the top. I have been having this conversation with a lot of my close friends, especially the ones who decided to leave success when they already got it because they thought it was lonely to be on the top. I will never forget what my friend Robert once told me, “The higher you get the lonelier you get”. It took me 7 months to reflect on this line and my meaning of happiness after success is that I want to continuously work on my dreams and have more meaningful goals but this time I don’t want to leave my loved ones on the side.
