Dr. Wilde is a world renowned cardiac electrophysiologist at the Amsterdam University Medical Center. The Amsterdam UMC was one of the first worldwide to start an outpatient cardiogenetic clinic. Over the years thousands of patients and families with inherited arrhythmia syndromes have been seen. They are at the basis of Dr. Wilde’s academic research which is focused on inherited cardiac diseases which are associated with sudden cardiac death.
